Washington-The weather on Thanksgiving Day was cool at first, but it was dry most of the time in DMV. Unstable weather and some rain followed, and the weekend ended. This may cause trouble for people traveling on holidays.

We will enter the Thanksgiving week, the average temperature is lower than the average temperature.

It is expected that the temperature in the afternoon before Thanksgiving will be around 50 degrees. A storm system will bring rain to our area from Sunday to Monday, and then dry weather on Tuesday and Wednesday-these two are very important travel days.

Our current forecast is that the temperature on Thanksgiving Day will be as low as 50 degrees and partly sunny. The holiday cannot rule out the chance of showers outside.

Both European and American models point to the seasonally cool young people in their 40s to 50s on Thanksgiving. In addition, these two main models keep the DMV holiday dry, but almost none. The pattern during Thanksgiving is expected to be a bit cooler and unstable. This is based on two factors:

The storm system may affect the southwestern United States and may rain around Thanksgiving. However, during the long holiday weekend in the Washington area, rain will be imminent, and the storm system will sweep the east coast on Friday, November 26 and next weekend. This means that in the days after Thanksgiving, holiday travelers may experience weather delays.

Naturally, as the holidays get closer and we get better weather data, we will be able to improve the Thanksgiving Day forecast. Therefore, some changes and updates are expected in the forecast in the coming days.

But as of now, our weather patterns are seeking to complement holiday trips and those who stay at home and celebrate with DMV’s family and friends.
